Aimplas Sets up two courses on additives for plastic in the face-to-face and on-line modalities

Among others subjects, will tackle the origin of the plastics recycled, his main lacks and the possible modifications of his properties. Specifically, they will explain the treatments of desgasificación to delete smells and the broadcast of volatile, and will tackle subjects like the compatibilización of plastics inmiscibles or his regeneration, the modification of his viscosidad and the resistance to the melted.

The course goes headed to professionals of the sector of the plastic and to workers of companies interested in working with materials recycled. The students will learn to identify the additives that improve the final properties of the plastics recycled and to stabilise the plastics of this origin, as well as the compatibility and mix of distinct plastics. Besides, it will enter them in the world of the smell in the plastics.

During the days 18 and 19 June, and with a duration of 16 hours, course loads, additives and reinforcements will take place. Custom plastics. Be held in Aimplas and it will be taught by Begoña Galindo, Raquel Llorens and Luis Roca, all of them belonging to the Department of Compounding. During the course, aimed at professionals from the plastics industry, be discussed different strategies and methods of additives of plastics, loads and reinforcements best-suited to improve mechanical and thermal properties as well as the colouring of the plastic and the preparation of additives masterbatch.

The aim is that at the end of the course attendees know the majority of plastic additives, identify the properties of each and prevent these problems can present, know the loads and reinforcements that can be added and, in general, to improve the quality of the final product.
