HP Officejet Pro X printers receive 'Blue Angel' certification

The HP series OfficeJet Pro X is the first range of printers awarded the eco-label 'Blue Angel' according to RAL-UZ 171 criteria. In addition to this award, and that it has the Guinness World Record for being the world fastest desktop color printer, is also certified by the Agency Federal German environment (UBA), what makes it to be recognized throughout Europe as a product with environmental credentials.
'Blue Angel' is one of ecological certificates for products and services most important in the world and the HP Officejet Pro X is the first printer certified under the new standards. This requires adherence to more than 100 environmental standards, including energy consumption, chemical emissions and noise level of the computer. These new criteria require now, for example, specify the average energy consumption per week for all devices.

HP develops its printing systems based on environmental criteria. It also participates in programs of voluntary certification as an internationally renowned 'Blue Angel'. Voluntary certifications are an added indicator that HP is always looking for the way to provide your users with an excellent equipment. HP was one of the first manufacturers to adapt their design to meet the criteria of 'Blue Angel', and offers this certification since the mid-1990s.
