The city council of Buenavista signs an agreement with Canarian Foundation Recycles

The City council of Buenavista (Tenerife) and the Canarian Foundation for the Recycling and the Sustainable Development, integrated system of management of waste of electrical and electronic devices (RAEE), signed an agreement the past 28 October for the correct management and environmental treatment of the waste of the municipality. In the act of formalización of the agreement were present by part of the City council of Buenavista, the mayor Antonio González, as well as the councillor of Environment, Vanesa Martín, and by part of the Canarian Foundation Recycles, the general director, Carlota Cruz, as well as the director of Institutional Relations, Carmen Martínez.
According to statements of the mayor of Buenavista, Antonio José González Fortes, “this agreement strengthens the commitment of the consistory with the environment, besides offer to the neighbours/neighbors a place where deposit those appliances that have exhausted his useful life".
The general director of Canarian Foundation Recycles, Carlota Cruz, added that “we are very satisfied to collaborate with the City council of Buenavista to manage the waste of electrical and electronic devices that generate the citizens of the municipality, with the consequent profits for the environment”.
The pertinent devices of the municipality of Buenavista, that will manage the Canarian Foundation Recycles, will be of any typology of the pertaining to the ten categories in which, as it has the Royal decree 208/2005, distribute the waste of electrical and electronic devices (RAEE).
Each collected of waste will be documented by part of the Canarian Foundation Recycles with a certificate that will deliver in the moment of the collected or will send by email, like guarantee that the City council of Buenavista has delivered the electrical and electronic devices at the end of his useful life according to the established by the valid rule. Besides, the Canarian Foundation Recycles will compensate economically to the City council of Buenavista by the costs in which it have had to incur by the collected selective of the electrical and electronic devices.
Equally, once treated the waste of electrical and electronic devices that have been collected, will deliver the certificates of corresponding treatment, issued by an agent of waste authorised/authorized, that guarantee the correct environmental management of the same.
