The liability of corporations and local authorities in the V meeting of AON

Property and civil responsibility of local governments and authorities and local public employees was the central theme of the 5th meeting managers Local risk management, held in the FEMP and organized by AON, at the end of November. The working day was presented by Pedro Tomey, director, AON, and the general Secretary of the FEMP, Isaura Leal.
The meeting served to ensure that the local elected officials and technicians and officials of this Administration knew first-hand experiences and insurance solutions to the risks in the field of civil and patrimonial liability may occur as a result of the performance of their duties.
During the presentation, the director of AON as general Secretary of the FEMP noted the importance of knowing the commitments and responsibilities that assume responsible for municipal, especially now, in times of crisis and in the face of the new mandate that will emerge after the next local electionsto the challenges that must take to contribute to economic recovery and employment generation.
The change of the stage, with regard to the risks that will have to shoulder, and the legal security of those who have the responsibility of managing public affairs at the municipal level, were analysed in this day, as well as the identification of the most critical areas of risk and the tools available to tackle them.
