La entrada de nuevos productores de GNL, con nuevos contratos más flexibles y modernos, permite una profundización del mercado de gas con referencias de precios propias. La reciente regulación española, mediante la incorporación del almacenamiento virtual único de GNL y los nuevos mecanismos de asignación de capacidad, supone un paso decisivo en la buena dirección. MIBGAS como mercado organizado, también contribuye a ello, poniendo a disposición de sus usuarios la posibilidad de intercambiar anónimamente GNL en dicho almacenamiento virtual. Con ello proporciona una transparencia de precios, promueve la competencia, y contribuye a que el gas natural en España sea cada vez más competitivo ayudando así a la industria española que lo consume. Queda aún mucho por hacer, pero el camino está marcado. GasINDUSTRIAL trabaja para conseguir un gas competitivo y defender los intereses de los consumidores industriales que necesitan un suministro fiable y al precio más competitivo posible. Nuestros objetivos contemplan lograr peajes armonizados con los del resto de Europa, regulaciones eficaces, fiabilidad y seguridad de suministro, libre competencia en el mercado y participación de los consumidores en los aspectos regulatorios y de planificación. Estamos convencidos de que la actividad industrial es el motor clave para que España regrese a una senda de prosperidad y de calidad de vida. En España, la industria, como base del sistema gasista, supone el 62% del consumo total de gas nacional, con una factura anual de más de 4.700 M€. Desde hace ocho años, la competitividad del gas español venía empeorando para todo tipo de consumidores industriales, llegando a tener precios un 25% más altos que los de sus competidores europeos, con peajes hasta un 45% por encima de los de la media europea. Ahora esto puede cambiar, lo que supondría una inyección de competitividad para industrias de los sectores más diversos y más exportadores. Ese empuje podría volver a situar a nuestra industria como verdadero motor económico y generador de riqueza y empleo estable y de calidad. Desde GasINDUSTRIAL estamos orgullosos de haber colaborado este año 2020 a que esta situación se esté erradicando y vemos como el diferencial de precios con el resto de los mercados europeos se ha reducido y los peajes bajan en nuestro país. Pero queda mucho camino aún por recorrer. España debe impulsar su industria para así impulsar la economía del país. La situación es dura y complicada y el futuro está más lleno de incertidumbre que nunca, pero seamos positivos y sigamos luchando. For eight years, the competitiveness of Spanish gas has been worsening for every type of industrial consumer, reaching prices 25% higher than our European competitors, with tolls of up to 45% above the European average. Now this can change, which would represent an injection of competitiveness for industries in the most diverse of exporting sectors. This stimulus could once again position our industry as a real economic driver and generator of wealth, in addition to stable and quality employment. GasINDUSTRIAL is proud of the part we have played in 2020 to eliminate this situation, seeing how the price differential compared to other European markets has reduced and tolls lowered in Spain. But there is still much to be done. Spain must stimulate its industry to drive the country’s economy. The situation is tough and complex with the future full of more uncertainty than ever, however we are positive and continue fighting. Together, we comprise a force in a country that knows how to reinvent itself in the most challenging moments.
