The more opened the extension of the treatment station in Guadalajara

The opening consisted of a small visit to the new zone. The event was attended by the President of the Commonwealth, Jesus Dominguez, as well as the rest of the joint municipalities.
The objective of the works has been the increase in 1,500 litres per second capacity of water treatment that currently has the ETAP. To ensure the increase of wealth, built a line of decantation and filtration, in parallel with the existing and within the same compound. Thanks to these works has been a treatment capacity of up to 4,000 litres of water per second.
In addition, was built a regulatory deposit output of treated water of 500 cubic meters, a truck weighing system and a new enclosure of the enclosure. It was also necessary to run a detour of an electric high voltage line across the part of the ETAP that enlargement should be carried.
The need for this extension has been motivated by the tendency of increase in the consumption of water that have experienced in stocks supplied by the Commonwealth of waters of the Sorbe, as well as by the obligation of water treatment techniques to adapt to the new legislation governing this area.
