April 22, 2010
Preflex Iberianbranch in Spain of Preflexibel NV, following its line to improve the safety of installations, It has become the standard ITME tube Preflex halogen-free. This has been possible thanks to the process of research carried out in the Department's r & d of Preflexibel NV, which has allowed this leap of quality without increasing the cost of manufacture, and therefore their inclusion in the standard product.
The main feature of the new halogen-free tube is the added value in security that provides both the installation and persons, in the event that there is a fire involving the channelling of wiring. After generating the combustion of these tubes halogen-free, smoke to be drawn has a smaller amount to 0.5% of chemical substances known collectively as halogens and where are these elements such as monoxide and carbon dioxide or hydrochloric acid.
In order to further strengthen security troop new references of Preflex, these tubes have a rating against the fire of F2, which makes them not propagators of the flame.
