"The chemical industries attached to Coashiq are safer"

AIQB President reflected that this index, which measures the frequency of accidents with low for every million hours worked, is even lower than the existing environments considered "harmless". Specifically, in the case of industries attached to Coashiq, the index is 8.4, while for industry in general this amounts to the 52.8.
The Assistant Director-general of prevention of labour risks of the Junta de Andalucía, Sebastian Chacón, will on the other hand, he stressed in his speech that the new Spanish strategy of safety and health at work 2007-2012 "mean a new boost to actions and legislative reforms in the field of the prevention of occupational hazards". Chacón also stated the progress made for the creation of future r & d laboratory of occupational risks in Granada.
The current situation in the preventive field
During the days 2008 Inerco risk prevention techniques, experts and officials of the industrial sector analysed the current status of the implementation of the legislation on preventive, noting the advances of recent years in this area in the industry in Seville. For its part responsible for risk prevention Inerco presented the main tools, working methods and specific measures that are implemented by different companies of the sector to achieve better integration of prevention and preventive efficiency.
The meeting has had the participation of almost a hundred specialists from the world of industry and the Administration, which together with risk prevention Inerco technicians, have been discussed on the practical experiences in dealing with the implementation of existing legal obligations, as well as on the new challenges that arise in the prevention of occupational hazards.
