7,500 robots work in Spain
The month of September was held in Bilbao the Congress of the Spanish Association of robotics, in the framework of the fair event. Along the same mention was made of the expansion of Robotics in Spain, with a forecast for 1997 from 7,500 robots in operation. The total number of employees in this sector is higher than the 1990 people and the turnover amounts to 47.650 TPMS., of which 35 percent comes from exports.
Coinciding with the Congress failed award Daniel Crespo to the technology diffusion in this second edition, is awarded to engineer Daniel Audí, former President of the AER and introducer and disseminator of Robotics in Spain.
