The International Congress of Metrology confirms his excellent state of health in his 30 anniversary

The last International Congress of Metrology celebrated between the pasts 7 and 10 October in Paris, in association with the fair Enova. With the maturity won in the first 30 years, the organisers focalizaron the congress in 3 main appearances: the permanent opening to all the areas of interest (all the countries and sectorial activities), the importance of the innovation in the distinct technical skills and technological and the ambition inquebrantable in the creation of meetings between distinct worlds (the famous transfer).
The Congress offered three days and half full of variety: 180 technical presentations, six round tables of thematic industrial, three tours by the Congress and an exhibition in the section MesurExpoVision of the fair Enova. The aim, to part to offer activities of interest, based in following the evolutions of the work of the participants and satisfy his needs: the world is changing and already anybody works as it did five years ago.
In the Congress entered some remarkable novelties; during the opening session spoke on the profits of the careers related with the measurement, two European programs of investigation in metrology presented his projects and subjects like the transformation of the foods, the energetic challenges and the nanotechnology treated with depth.
With this wide range of thematic and areas, the number of visitors and display units of this edition rose to the 850, a figure record that converts this Congress in the most important of the world. Part of the participants came from of 36 foreign countries, being 36% of the total figure. 53 companies formed part of the Metrology Village, the heart of the event where realizar the sessions more amenas, the appetizerss or the cocktails, among others. Besides, 5.900 people visited the fair Enova devoted to the electronic measurement, technology RF and optical. The level of scientific satisfaction and technician valued between 87% and 90% on 100% and the industrial profits reached 83% of satisfaction.
The Congress, besides, confirmed his dedication to all the sectors put that 68% of the participants were industrial users, 11% were representatives of national and international organisations, 13% were academic and researchers and 8% remaining came of other fields like hospitals or presses.
