FFC, a new material of Friul Filiere for the extrusion of profiles
Hand-held of Valdi Artico, manager of Friul Filiere and of Pascal Antoine, director of Imvolca, the assistants to the days and to the stand of the company representative of the Italian signature, between others, could know this new material. Designed for his application in the extrusion of profiles by Friul Filiere in 2010, can purchase in shape of granza or dry mix. For his manufacture took into account environmental criteria and like result, the product FFC is totally recyclable.
With this material, that can transform in extruders monohusillo of determinate type or in extruders of double husillo, parallel or conical, obtains a product of density of 0,65, very similar to the wood, but with an inferior cost. Besides, it involves a simple process and a reduction of the cost of the final product, keeping at the same time a high productivity.
A new material for the extrusion that works like the wood
But, what is exactly? As they advanced during the presentation, the new composite FFC is a mix of thermoplastic matter atóxica of natural fibres (can be vegetal loads, mineral and pertinent of recycled), that can be sawdusts (in a proportion of the 30 or 50%, with a granulometry and a determinate humidity), mixed properly with a PVC and an agent of expansion, lubricant and estabilizantes.
The FFC works like the wood, that is to say, can taladrar, mill, atornillar, nail, paint, lacar and, even, recubrir of plates of melanin. Another advantage of this material is that it offers the possibility to be able to recycle and regenerate at the end of his life in the same product or in other compounds of PVC.
The FFC can employ in the construction, the agriculture, in the manufacture of pieces of furniture and in the manufacture of closings and windows. In the actuality, final products like frames of doors and zócalos employ already this material, substituting in this case to materials like the PVC rigid.
