Cardia Bioplastic collaborates with Nestlé to reduce the environmental impact of packaging

The partnership between Nestlé and Cardia is in the line of work of the latter to brand owners who are looking for alternatives to conventional packaging. Cardia technology allows to reduce the carbon footprint and use less oil in containers, obtaining greater environmental benefit.
Frank Glatz, managing director of Cardia Bioplastics considers that "collaboration with Nestlé is a great opportunity to develop packaging of high-performance with a low environmental impact". The company offers its clients sustainable technology Cardia BiohybridTM (less petrolio and lower carbon footprint) and technologies that have the international certificates on compostability. The materials of the company are suited to a wide range of packaging applications, including flexible film, the injection and blow moulding, foam and applications of extrusion and coating.
