Born Plastival, a cluster that will ensure that the interests of the sector of the plastics in Valencia

On Wednesday 7 April, in a ceremony organized at the headquarters of Adeit together with Impiva, the University of Alicante and the Valencian Association of entrepreneurs of plastics, is introduced to companies in the sector the draft Constitution of the cluster of the plastic of the Valencian CommunityPlastival.

This cluster, whose definition began in 2009 with the support of the 7th framework programme, was the University of Alicante / initiative account today with a total of 11 members from companies, associations, universities, technological institutes, financial institutions and Government agencies. During the present financial year 2010, its members are designed the formal and legal Constitution of the cluster, giving rise, to the incorporation of all sector companies interested in participating in the actions envisaged in the Plan of action which was submitted in this step. During the time of joint work on the definition of actions to develop, its members have developed strategic reports that allow establish not only a starting point of the current situation of the sector, but also identify the main areas and lines of research in which the undertakings concerned can be found a competitive edge.
