The exhibition was completed with a programme of special exhibitions and side events as 'e-production for everyone' and ' Automation within moldmaking and tooling'. With all these formats the fairground of Frankfurt became again a forum where converged the technologies and innovations spanning the complete product development chain. Precisely the concept that allows to hold this fair every year with success, because there is no other to submit all necessary for the production of a piece, from his "idea" stage, unless it is already on the market.
Despite the economic situation, many exhibitors showed their satisfaction by the contacts made. Christof M. Stotko, responsible for Global Marketing of EOS (Electro Optical Systems), said: "we have made contacts of interest and we have delved into relations with companies that we already knew". Konstantin Bikar, CEO of Bikar step noted "with surprise the large number of interested visitors" and Dirk Dombert, CEO of Cimatron, for whom "EuroMold 2009 has been a success" was expressed in similar terms. Marco Schülken, CEO of Werkzeugbau Ruhla, also expected more discrete results, given the situation, and ended the show happy by the large number of public, in the same way as Andy Middleton, CEO Europe of Objet Geometries.
EuroMold has always been the Forum which brings together the techniques of rapid prototyping and rapid manufacturing. On this occasion, during the fair was held again the International Congress of 'Rapid Prototyping and Rapid Manufacturing', organized by Wohlers Association.
Also held a Congress on thermoforming organized by Society of Plastics Engineers.
