Gaiker explains the risks of the use of nanomaterials in a day

The technological centre Gaiker will organize the next 1-2 October day ' nanomaterials. Assessment of risks to health and the environment ', an initiative which aims to give to know the latest developments and findings in the field of toxicity and risk in the handling of these materials. In addition, it will show different procedures existing and used so far to assess the toxicity of these substances.
The seminar, to be held at the headquarters of the Centre in Zamudio (Vizcaya), is aimed at industrial sectors that use nanomaterials in products: biomedicine and cosmetics, automotive, coatings and paints, construction, electronic, biosensors, container and food, among others. It may also be of interest to universities and research that are working with this type of material, both in its fine-tuning the characterization and search for new applications.
