Ecological technologies, coatings, adhesives and sealants will be presented at the World Conference on Polyurethanes
June 21, 2008
This year's Conference will include more than 100 technical papers and presentations of posters, educational seminars, the annual innovation awards and a programme of professional development in polyurethanes. The Conference is carried out from September 29 to October 1 at the Marriott Rivercenter in San Antonio, Texas and is the main annual technical Conference on Polyurethanes in the world.
The technical meeting on chemicals for coatings, adhesives, sealants and elastomers will explore innovative chemical products to improve the sustainability and the overall performance of polyurethane materials. Representatives of Shepherd Chemical will report on the use of bismuth as a catalyst for polyurethane, while INRC Polymate scientists will analyze the development of material polyurethane hybrid non-isocyanate with low permeability, increased chemical resistance and a synthesis of the material that exhibits superior environmental features. Representatives of Nippon Polyurethane will present the progress of the company in the development of dispersions of polyurethane high performance sustainable coatings based on water.
