IK4-Ideko closes 2011 with 7,7 M of income

2011 has been especially signalled in the development of the Technological Centre IK4-Ideko of Elgoibar. Continuing in the senda of the growth, the Technological Centre has reached in the year of his 25º anniversary an increase of the total figure of business of 5% with a total income of 7,7 million euros from projects. Of this quantity, 5,1 millions corresponded to projects of R&D under contract with companies and 2,5 millions to projects of investigation having the support of diverse institutions.

The current coyuntura does more necessary that never the translation in results of the advances in R&D so that the new technologies sustenten of form diferenciadora the competitiveness of the companies. Conscious of this, IK4-Ideko has worked in different lines of performance. In the field of the investigation, the 107 workers of IK4- Ideko have contributed to his development in the international field through 13 European projects active of which in 5 cases the technological centre participates like leader.

This work has complemented with a strong work of transfer to the knitted partner-business through projects under industrial demand. In 2011 IK4-Ideko established agreements of collaboration in R&D by near amount to the 2 million euros with 4 companies of reference in the field of the machine-tool and the technologies of manufacture.
