Ukraine manufacturing sector will benefit from the HTEC program

The Polytechnic Institute of Kiev (KPI) from the National Technical University of Ukraine may 26, 2011, celebrated the opening of its center of technical training for Haas (HTEC) with an important event. The creation of a strategic alliance with the only distributor in the country (Haas Factory Outlet (HFO), a division of Abplanalp Ukraine Haas, teachers and students of the KPI will enjoy permanent access to the CNC cutting technology's newest precision, including a ST-20 turning Centre and a centre of machining VF-3 now, both of Haas.
In the new Centre the KPI HTEC is also Abplanalp HFO Centre in Kiev, the first in the country's capital, so the company can show Haas machines to customers for the manufacture of the city. The collaboration has also other advantages to the KPI, which is now considered a key place for the machine tool CNC most recent, a laboratory CNC for high-tech, and an excellent source of specialists CNC very competent and trained for the sector.
This outstanding event was attended by senior government officials and representatives of local manufacturing companies, as well as the management teams of Abplanalp, Haas Automation Europe and members of the HTEC program.
In his turn of words, Michael Zgurovsky, rector of the KPI, stated that the creation of the new HTEC is an important step for Ukrainian education and industry.
