Siemens Drive Technologies expands its range of accessories and applications for machine tools
This novelty will share center stage with a new technology package for applications of milling and a new variant of high inertia servomotors.
Drive head screw support with transmission by belt or coupling
Siemens presents at Emo 2009 the new series of engines 1PH8 dedicated spindles of machine tools with transmission by belt or coupling. The engines are designed as head drives and are manufactured in version both asynchronous and synchronous and 1PH8 series engines have a high dynamic response and work gently and without vibrations, giving more precision to the spindles of machine toolswhich improves the quality of the pieces and thus productivity.
In addition, the range of benefits is higher compared to the previous versions. The engines are available as a head drives with powers ranging from 2.8 to 1,340 kW and they widen the range of applications against various types of bearings available. The motors are optimally coordinated with the system of control or regulation Sinamics S120, which simplifies the implementation underway and improves the regulation.
These engines are produced in versions with solid or hollow shaft, with incremental encóders and various cooling systems, whether by water or forced independent and, in the future, also autorrefrigerados. The extreme breadth of the range of powers, the high speed of up to 20,000 rpm regime and the modularity of the components give this series of engines your proficiency as a standard drive for conventional spindles of machine tools.
New technology package for applications of milling
Siemens Drive Technologies also presents at Emo 2009 the new technological package Sinumerik MDynamics to applications of milling. The package brings together the CNC, CNC features intelligent hardware and the chain of CAD/CAM/CNC processes for industries that require much in terms of surface quality, precision and speed of machining.
An exact surface finish, the need to detour and short machining times are the factors that influence the quality of a piece and the productivity of the manufacturing process. And the technological package Sinumerik MDynamics has been offered in a variant for 3-axis and one for 5-axis milling machines and is applicable for control Sinumerik of the compact class and Premium class.
The technology package for 3-axis for Sinumerik 840 d covers, for example, the new optimized dynamic movement control and, in addition, innovative functions for the preparation, as the new system of management tools and programs. The programming of the parts is simplified thanks to new features and Shop Mill, the solution for programming by job steps. They are also integrated innovative technological cycles, automatic measurement cycles, three-dimensional simulation for the programming and the calculation of tenders, as well as efficient machining of high-speed (HSC) capabilities. Complete package new functions interface man machine, a simplified management of data and programs with additional memory card CF, interpolation with 'spline' as well as the simulation of expensive pieces for machining in multi.
Package for 5-axis is complemented with the function of automatic detection of remaining material and the Cycle996 kinematics measurement cycle. The package for milling operations also includes three dimensional radial compensation and functions advanced programming 'on line' of the trajectory of the center of the tool (Traori) for 5-axis, among others.
The new HighSpeed Setting Cycle832 enables adaptation accelerated to the machining strategy. Innovative technological cycles as the cycle for milling trocoidal or 'plongee' allow machining parts with greater speed, ease and efficiency. Quick and easy manipulation of complex parts with a single bound, both JOG and automatic operation, is possible with the new cycle of Cycle800 guidance for complete machining. During machining, the operator is assisted by indicators of past remaining and visualization of large programs molds.
A new variant of high inertia servomotors
Siemens Drive Technologies has also expanded its series of servomotors 1FK7 with a variant of high inertia, a novelty that the company exhibits for the first time in this year of Emo. Engines are used on axes of advance and auxiliary machine tool and the new variant 1FK7-HI stands out for its high moment of inertia, to confer on the engines response of regulation very robust, making them especially suitable for applications with high and variable load inertia. The drives associated with the Sinumerik numerical control and the 1FK7 series engines reach a very high accuracy of detour without having to laboriously adjust the slider in the machine.
Autorrefrigerados 1FK7-HI servomotors have an extremely robust design to vibrations and impacts and are available with pairs of 3 to 20 Nm. As all type engines have electronic data plate and the version with bus series Drive-Cliq optimally harmonizes with Sinamics S120 drive system. Engines adapt and dimensioning for each application by using the Sizer tool.
