Success of the day about possibilities of financing for automotive r & d projects

Aimme hosted last July 22 an information session on financing for projects of r & d in the automotive sector. The day has counted with the support of the Cluster of automotive of Valencia - Avia - e Imaut, Redit related transportation centers collaborative structure. José Monzonís, regional Secretary of economy, industry and trade, Salvador Bres, director of Aimme, and Emilio Orta, President of Avia have been present at the opening.
At the start of the day, the director of Aimme, Salvador Bres, welcomed the participants and emphasized the role of the Center as a member of Imaut, strategic commitment of five components, around the mobility centres and means of transport.
Meanwhile, Emilio Orta, President of Avia, has stressed that the companies located in the region of Valencia know these projects and attend the CDTI to obtain financing. In this sense Orta has stressed the need that these supports incorporate part of financing of patents, "since it is very dangerous to conduct research, to launch the project and not protected by patents. However, the process of patenting is expensive"
They have come to the meeting, held at the premises of Aimme in Parque Tecnológico de Paterna, the head of r & d of 26 enterprises related to automotive and responsible for technological institutes and universities.
The intervention of the CDTI, Raúl García technician turned on the processes to apply for grants and subsidies for r & d projects, as well as innovation projects. In this sense it has confirmed that there are still resources available for the development of r & d projects and that such projects have a non-refundable 15% stretch. In the case of the innovation projects has also confirmed that there are resources, although in these works there is no non-refundable stretch.
