Euromold, in its seventh edition, will follow the general tone of previous editions. The entire sector of the molds, but also many more, come together in Frankfurt from December 29 to December 2 with the claim to be an example of a relationship between the functions of the technology and peopleespecially in a society that is constantly questioned what place deal with the human being in the next millennium.

Euromold is an appointment to be considered by many industry groups. While it is true to not go to her professional Spanish mass, no less certain is that this is a fair that has been able to find its niche in the world of fairs, and which presents year after year growth figures. For the first time, for example, it will occupy four pavilions and the Gallery of the fairground of Frankfurt, a total of 80,000 m2 of exhibition area.

Exhibitors, from this time of more than 30 different countries will no doubt show what is happening in the industry, the great challenge of a reduction of production processes in order to accelerate the release of new products. Among the new participating countries the visitor will find with Great Britain, India, Brazil and Turkey. There will also be an international collective stand for builders of moulds and tools, organized by the direction of the show, Demat, under the title 'Initiative Euromold'. The aim is to make it easier for small businesses the opportunity to take advantage of the fair with a moderate budget.

Advanced manufacturing systems and the coordination of the different actors involved in these processes will be important factors during the fair. But the leading role it will especially industry mould and tool, at least from the point of view of the number of exhibitors. However, they also increase in number of exhibitors other groups such as the development of product design, rapid prototyping and rapid tooling, construction of models and models, peripheral sectors, CAD/CAM, raw materials, machine tools, processing and finishing, as well as conception and development of systems. But the good thing about Euromold is precisely that different disciplines, in the same way as in real life are interrelated in the fair. Indeed, the need for relationship between the different sectors involved in the manufacture of parts of any kind implies that professionals in different areas must be kept in contact.

This year, without fair EMO, will be as numerous companies in the sector of machine tool technologies of turning, milling and wire EDM, as well as for machining centres, they will come with greater presence. In any case, Euromold, rather than a generic product fair, is a fair process, encompassing all actors in the production system.

Taking into account increasing applications of Microtechnologies in the injection and prototyping quick, the micro has been chosen as one of the special for the Euromold 2000 themes and a collective stand for exhibitors of the sector will be organised by Ivam and the Association for the diffusion of technology applications microstructures of North Rhine.

Other topics of importance to the chain of the development of product represented by the concept of Euromold will also have special events, such as for example, the presentation of Virtual reality or the use of tools of hard metal for manufacture of moulds.

If in the previous edition there was talk of this event showed its international character given the large presence of foreign countries, in this edition sect, Euromold has convinced to exhibitors and visitors of the usefulness of bringing together in a same compound suppliers and consumers of production levels. Shows the extension of the occupied area and the increase in the number of attendees at the show.

Another attraction of the event will, as happened in the past, the special provision of the design and engineering companies, in the new Pavilion 9.2. This stand will showcase companies in the sector of design, the design of products and engineering. Most of the exhibitors in this pavilion will be builders of moulds and tools, as well as companies in the sector of CAD/CAM software.

As for the Pavilion 9.1 in its diversity, is an extension of the Pavilion 8, with all sectors of Euromold. As for the 9.0, it will concentrate also construction companies of moulds and tools, laser, and control technology as well as subcontractors of the mold industry sectors and the tool.
