The Consorci and the Frank Zone of The Step sign an agreement of collaboration and promotion in business and logistical subjects

The agreement between these public frank zones of Spain and EE.UU has formalised in the course of the municipal plenary of The Step and has been signed by the special delegate of the State in the CZFB, Jordi Cornet, and the mayor of The Step, Oscar Leeser, since the frank zone aduanera depends of the municipality and of the airport of this border city with Mexico.

The international evolution of the business of the frank zones and the constitution of an international organism that represent to these areas of fiscal exemptions is one of the points that has examined in the previous meetings to the signature, since the CZFB and the FTZ of The Step are interested in the next constitution of the World-wide Association of Frank Zones, in whose managerial organism the CZFB will have a direct representative and that will present publicly the next day 19 May in Dubai.
The Step limits just across the border with the Mexican city of Juárez and this urban conglomerate of 2,3 million people is one of the main areas manufactureras and of logistical development of America.
The Foreign Trade Zone number 68, as it designates the frank zone of The Step, is one of the five more important frank zones of United States and in 2013 managed a business valued in more than 10.000 million dollars, according to data of the federal reservation of EE UU.
