The Spanish Association of Bioempresas (Asebio) considers that the Government would have to develop and implement of effective form the strategy based in the bioeconomía that has launched recently the European Commission, call Innovating for Sustainable Growth: to Bioeconomy for Europe, as they have done countries like Denmark, Finland, Germany, Ireland and Holland. Of this form, the patronal ranges his request with the one of the patronal European of biotechnology, EuropaBio, to which belongs, that considers that this strategy represents a big step to achieve a more intelligent growth, sustainable and greater generator of employment for all the states members in the future and that has had a process of query with all the actors involved, in addition to with the support of several general directors of the European Commission. In words of the general secretary of EuropaBio, Nathalie Moll, “the bioeconomía will contribute enormous profits to our economy and to our environingingment”.

This strategy, announced by the European Commission and led by the commissioner of Innovation and Investigation, Geoghegan-Quinn, has like aims favour the European economy through the utilisation of renewable and sustainable resources. The project Innovating for Sustainable Growth: to Bioeconomy for Europe pursues a more innovative economy and that produce fewer broadcasts, with a more sustainable agriculture, with technicians that favour the alimentary hygiene and the use of renewable energies through the biotechnology that suppose a greater protection to the environingingment.
