The Galician graphic sector is concerned about the effects of the crisis

The Association of entrepreneurs of graphic arts of Galicia (AEAGG) recently convened a special General Assembly in order to help entrepreneurs to think out of the current crisis facing the sector. The event was attended with the assistance of numerous partners who were concerned about the situation that are going through many companies in the graphic sector Galician.
According to the study of the Sector in 2008, prepared by the Business Federation of industries graphs of Spain (Feigraf), in Galicia, there are currently 534 enterprises. In the total number of enterprises are excluded which do not have employees-employing 4,673 workers. This community occupies the sixth position both in number of companies and workers.
Companies are going through a bad time, as evidenced by the survey conducted by the AEAGG to their partners about their current level of production and employment figures. The results show that the first was decreased by 30% and 45% of companies reduced staff since the beginning of the year. For this reason, the AEAGG prompted the Xunta de Galicia for the establishment of helplines for business concentration and a strategic plan for the sector projects
