The consumption of aggregates in Andalusia declined 19,23% in ten years

The consumption of aggregates for the construction in Andalusia has registered a decrease of - 19,23% during the last period (2009-2010), which translates into a regional 33.6 million tonnes consumption in 2010 (41.6 in 2009). For its part, in Andalusia, where donde hay there are surveyed 330 active farms of aggregates (quarries and like), a national package that amounts to 1.743, aggregates per capita consumption is estimated at 4.1 tonnes per capita.
Such were some of the data dumped in the 'annual aggregates sector report' been made public during the recent Assembly General of the Manufacturers Association of aggregate and related de Andalucía (AFA-Andalusia), which has taken place on June 3 in Torremolinos (Málaga), with the participation of the National Association of manufacturers of aggregate (Anefa), and the assistance of more than ninety entrepreneurs from the sector from all the Andalusian provinces.
The economic situation of the construction sector and, particularly in the arid, have been treated in depth, as well as the numerous initiatives of AFA-Andalusia to defend the interests of the companies, in all areas of activity.
