Rockwool will participate in the 9th Conference on sound and thermal insulation of the UPV

The Polytechnic University of Valencia will host on 24 February the 9th Conference on 'Acoustic and thermal isolation'. With the objective of analysing in depth the current situation of the sector and emerging trends in isolation, the Conference will have the presence of specialists who offer practical and applied approaches on the topics of discussion. Diego Albizu Izurdiaga, Member of the Technical Department of Rockwool, will be in charge of the reference to 'noise barriers' presentation.
In addition to the area of conferences, the days count, too, with an exhibition area where the Rockwool will be present with a stand where will offer information about their products and services.
Diego Albizu will introduce the theme of the noise barrier with a paper which explain its main characteristics, methods of study of the absorption and will present the new product NoiStop.
This type of noise barriers are used in order to isolate external spaces, especially those close to the road on which traffic makes the acoustic comfort. For this reason, they are barriers prepared to withstand bad weather and conditions such as moisture or heat, without damage.
It will also present NoiStop, an external enclosure that allows to take full advantage of the property with its core of rock wool. This product is available in two versions, the NoiStop Wood, solid pine wood, and the NoiStop Green, wood or steel in green finish.
