Dictamat 50, the new compact version of the drive for gates of Dictator, is in charge of closing the sliding doors in the cruise of the Holland-America-Line, at the entrances of the luxury cabins on deck. The company chose this closing device after assessing its advantages: Dictamat 50 does not require electrical connection, which facilitates mounting, eliminates the additional costs of daily use, is a more economical solution with respect to devices to engine and ensures its functioning even in emergency situations for the failure of electric current.
Ideal also for reforms, its mechanical construction avoids the annoying noise of a drive's door.
As for the speed of closure, it can be brought accuracy, allowing to adapt individually to each gate.
All components can be manufactured entirely in stainless materials (cruise, the metal parts are of stainless steel AISI 316).
In addition, and according to requirements, Dictamat 50 can be delivered as a compact unit or modular system. Thus, a suitable and attractive solution can be designed even when there is little available space (for example under the fairing of the guidance system, such as cruise ships).
For implementation Dictator has 'travelled' doors manufacturer designing the details of the system (sliding door, System Guide and Dictamat 50) together. But in addition to delivering the product the company provides active support to their customers, from planning to execution.
Dictamat 50 is also indicated to provide service in different places such as hospitals, homes for the elderly and other public institutions, where there is the low noise level of the drive. They are places where you prefer increasingly sliding doors because they do not need much space and offer wide step openings, without blocking the corridors or beatings. On the other hand, sliding doors equipped with Dictamat 50 open easily with hand and close by itself softly and silently. If it is also mounted a mechanical timer Dictator, the sliding door stays open about 25 seconds before the closure. This allows, for example, push a stretcher and pass through the door without keep it open by hand.
