ISOVER collaborates in the contest Madrid ' Renove

The Renove Madrid competitionis an initiative of the Think Tank platform that it aims to realize a project of urban renewal through citizen participation, involved professionals, and enterprises and institutions, with the support of the administration. In short, he wants to demonstrate to citizens that the rehabilitation is possible and is at their fingertips, thanks to her will get significant savings in terms of energy consumption and that will improve your comfort and your quality of life.
ISOVER Saint-Gobainas a leading company in production of mineral wool, which focuses its efforts on the development of new effective and sustainable building solutions, identified fully with the objectives of this initiative that has the support of the Ministry of development, the Institute for the diversification and saving of energy (Idae), community of Madrid and the Madrid City Council.
The object of the contest is the selection of a building in the area of Madrid River that will serve as a field of action for collective reflection on residential rehabilitation. Once chosen the building, professionals be submitted to contest their proposals for intervention, which will be chosen for the project which will be carried out. All those communities of owners of residential properties located in first line of the field of Madrid River may attend this call.
The complete documentation for the contest will be on the web pages of the Secretariat of the competition (Ocam), Madrid Think Tank and partner companies, and may be consulted freely by any interested party from the moment of its launch, on July 11, 2013 at the headquarters of the official school of architects of Madrid. The deadline for the submission of proposals to the contest will end on September 5, 2013.
The property selected through this competition will be subject to a performance of comprehensive rehabilitation whose scope is determined in later phases and that, in any case, will have technical support and management of the official Architects Association of Madrid, of local, regional and national administrations the Institute for the diversification and saving of energy (Idae), and of partner companies, in grant application processing both definition and realization of technical projects and the subsequent execution of the works which, in any case, shall be borne by the owners of the selected property.
