Failed IX Awards ceramics for architecture and interior design Ascer

The jury of the Awards ceramics for architecture and interior design, organized by the Spanish Association of manufacturers of tiles and pavements (Ascer), failed the last November 24, in Castellón, the ninth edition of these awards, with recognition in the architectural field.
In the architecture category, first prize went to the Bach Arquitectes study for the project 'Building of housing Casp 74'. The building highlighted not only by the high quality of its architecture, but also by the "exemplary use" of ceramic pieces in the facade.
In the category of Interior design, is awarded the first prize for the project 'Parking Avenue freedom', Manuel Clavel Rojo, where the majority of pedestrian zones are covered with ceramic.
Besides, the prizes have a destined category to distinguish the best Project End of Career, whose award was for ‘Termas of sea in San Sebastián', of Alba Balmaseda Domínguez, student of the Upper Technical School of Madrid, by “his understanding with the place in which it is situated and the convincente use of the ceramics in contrast with the concrete in the interior of the building”.
