Perkins Frees the power of his new motors IOPU

The engine IOPU 854And-And34TA is an engine turbo of 3,4 litres, four cylinders and air-to-air refrigeration that can develop 74,5 kW (100 CV) of power and 420 Nm of pair to 1.400 rpm. His high density of power, combined with an excellent pair engine, allows to the manufacturers reach the same provision that with motors of elder cilindrada. His small size leaves more space for the new unit of back treatment, what reduces to the minimum the problems of installation.
The IOPU 854And-And34TA of Perkins is basically a solution ‘key in hand' that includes engine, system of back treatment, radiador, filter of air and signpost of optional electronic control. The motors IOPU are thought to increase the flexibility of installation, since the system of back treatment can mount in axial steering along the top of the engine or in transversal to the carcasa of the steering wheel.
