The Government authorises the bidding of the first phase of the new station of Gironinginga

Thanks to this performance, Gironinginga will have of some installations with full guarantees of accessibility, hygiene, confort and services of attention to the customers of the railway industry and to the citizens.
The project poses a constructive solution to create a space unificador of all the functions to which has to give service the station. The performances contemplate the execution of a building of accesses to the andenes of high speed, as well as the inner finishing and the endowment of facilities and equipment for the different destined spaces to specific uses.
From the hall of the station of conventional width, to level of surface, will realise the access to the new building by means of the adaptation and closing of the step peatonal existent, creating like this a direct connection.
The access to the andenes of high speed will realise through a new edificación, situated on the losa of coverage of the structure that is executing in the sector of the Parc Central of Gironinginga. In the new installations will generate the additional spaces to lodge the dependencies and the necessary equipment for his operation.
From this new building, will access to the andenes subterranean of high speed through two intermediate levels of hall, organised around a big vertical gap that will facilitate the entrance of natural sunlight to the cabecera of the andenes.
The Ministry responsible for public works is advancing in the works of final configuration of the structure of the future station of high speed, that has a total length of 640 m, a width of 58 m and a depth of 26 m, with a losa of coverage that occupies 28.720 m2.
The station will have of four levels. In the inferior part will situate the four roads of parking and the two andenes of high speed, of 450 m of length. The others three levels, of 22.940 m2 each one, will allocate to parking, two plants with almost 1.000 squares, and to the station of buses, what will boost the intermodalidad with other systems of collective transport.
The Line of High Speed Madrid-Barcelona-French border has been cofinanciada by the Cohesion fund, in the works of platform of the stretch Madrid-Barcelona, as well as the supply and setting of road of the stretch Madrid-Vilafranca of the Penedès and installations of electrificación, signaling and communications of the stretch Madrid-Lleida, with a help that rises to 3.358,1 million euros.
The Helps RTE-T (Networks Transeuropeas of Transport) in the same period have funded the studies and projects, as well as the works of the platform of the stretch Maçanet-Sils, with a help that rises to 70,9 million euros.
