July 2, 2010
The project of splitting of the form C-17 is based on the expressway Plan of Catalonia and will improve the performance between the Catalan towns of Vic and Ripoll and the metropolitan area of Barcelona. The works in the axis reach the 49.4 miles in total length and part of the route takes advantage of the current platform of the C-17.
Enlargement is to provide the two-lane expressway for sense. Also built several tunnels and viaducts in the sections that are still running. Because of the difficulty of the works, ten Hune lifts such as telescopic, articulated arms and scissors diesel have been requested.
Most rented units are articulated arms of 43 meters for working at height, as they guarantee greater security to operators in a complex orographic area that runs through the River Ter. The splitting of the C-17 between Vic and Ripoll is expected to be operational by the end of 2011.
