Segovia will transform its bypass Freeway

The Ministry of public works has just approved the project of layout of the conversion into motorway of the road SG-20 (circumvallation of Segovia of p.k. 0 to the 15.53), in the province of Segovia. The estimated budget of notice of the works of this splitting amounts to 63.749.379,92 euros.
The project is to double the current SG-20 road which bypasses to the East the city of Segovia. The performance runs through the municipal terms of Bernuy, Segovia, La Lastrilla and San Cristobal, all in the province of Segovia. The type of the new motorway section will be of two roads of 3.50 meters with verges outside of 2.50 and inner one. The median separating both roads will be of 10 meters. 24 Structures, of which there are two overpasses on the highway, 18 lower steps (the vast majority for replenishment of roads and highways), three viaducts are planned in total (all duplication of existing ones to save rivers Ciguiñuela)(, Eresma and Cherry Creek) and a pedestrian footbridge over the motorway. Furthermore it is proposed the use of three existing structures.
