Thus the Construmat Award was for 'construction and urbanization of the Gran Via and the Plaça Europe of L'Hospitalet de Llobregat', while works of 'enlargement and improvement of the Barcelona - Sants train station', in Barcelona, and the 'pedestrian footbridge over the estuary of Narrondo'mentions of Construmat in Zumaia (Guipúzcoa). Promoted by the Consortium for the reform of the Gran Via, the works were carried out by the UTE Gran Via Hospitalet resulting Builder team: Copisa - FCC Construcción; and the UTE Estació Plaça Europe: Acciona and Agelectric. The optional technical team was composed of Lorenzo Lanzarote and Albert Palou, both engineers of roads, canals and ports; Humbert costs, Albert Viaplana and David Viaplana, architects; Joaquim Pascual, Industrial Engineer; and Cicsa.
Also works for the enlargement and improvement of the Barcelona-Sants train station got a mention in this category "by the relevance of the infrastructure essential for the city of Barcelona, the appropriateness of the structural and constructive project to preconditions which imposed the work, buying"", as well as raised solutions to solve the great complexity of structural and geotechnical engineering, keeping the station in service". Promoting, Zumaia Lantzen, was built by Altuna y Uria S.A. and with an optional technical team formed by Juan Antonio Sobrino Almunia, Javier Jordan Garcia, Jordi Pons Gabarrón, Lara Pellegrini, civil engineers, channels and ports.
