PcVue Supervises the project of proofs more important of the world with hybrid vehicles recargables
9 November 2011
EDF (Electricité Of France), Toyota and the council of the area of Strasbourg have chosen the software PcVue SCADA, developed by ARC Informatique, for a conjoint project of three years of length called Kléber. It treats of an experiment on a large scale with a fleet of 70 hybrid vehicles recargables (VHR) and 145 stations of recarga delivered by the urban area of Strasbourg. The price adjusted, the short terms of supply and the level of technical knowledges have exerted a fundamental paper in the process of selection.
In May of 2010 Toyota, EDF and the City and the Urban Community of Strasbourg set up a conjoint project designated Kléber for the proof on a large scale of hybrid vehicles recargables (VHR). This program of three years of length has three main aims: study the expectations of the user about the technology VHR and his infrastructure of recarga, verify the provision of the VHR in real situations and develop methods to evaluate the consumption of fuel and the broadcast of CO2.
The program Kléber form splits of a project of world-wide field headed by Toyota and that includes the put to proof of other 600 Prius in Japan, United States, England, Canada and Australia. For it is an opportunity to carry to the practical his installations of recarga.»These proofs are paramount to evaluate the technical solutions, the use and the economic models», explains Igor Czerny, Director of Transport and Electrical Vehicles of EDF. The project Kléber is the greater experiment of this type in the world, with a fleet of 70 VHR and 145 stations of recarga, almost all they connected by means of 3G, that will be tested by users selected. The 145 stations find installed in all the places that would fit to expect: to the edge of the road (8 stations), in public parkings (18), in the homes of the owners of the vehicle (44) and in the parkings of the companies in which they work (75).
After a year, the teams of EDF and Toyota have analysed/analyzed the technical data by means of the collected of information supplied by the stations of recarga, downloading the data registered in the VHR during the visits to the dealer and analysing/analyzing the questionnaires realised/realized to the users as well as the studies of field.
To manage the section of corresponding remote reading to the data of recarga obtained in the stations of EDF, the sponsors of the project Kléber selected the software PcVue SCADA developed by ARC Informatique.
The fast service of ARC Informatique and of the provider of services that installed PcVue also supposed an important factor for the project Kléber.
The function of the supervisor of PcVue is to collect the data with the end to transfer them to a computer system for his analysis. The data process directly by means of PcVue to visualise/visualize them of animated form (with diagrams mímicos) using for this symbols of objects predefinidos that represent by means of the mímica. The data purchased convert to objects PcVue standard and afterwards file in databases to process them by means of similar analytical software to the of the leaves of calculation.
In the project Kléber, the data purchased by the stations of recarga transmit through a network 3G and manage by means of PcVue. The database recopilados by PcVue shares with a central server of EDF by means of a service web. This means that the data can consult through Internet or of an intranet with safe access.
The software PcVue conserves a central database to register the behaviour/behavior of the users of the stations of recarga in the urban area of Strasbourg as well as to register the utilisation/utilization of the stations. Also it provides the management in real time of any station of recarga that work wrongly to improve the maintenance of the system in his group.
