AIDO develops the project of intelligent lighting Adilux
October 5, 2011
The current shortage of energy resources and the impact the use of energy on the environment is that both the authorities and society raised energy policies to make better use of different resources and especially to rationalize their use. In order to take a step forward in the field of management of energy consumption for public lighting of the cities was born the project Adilux. An initiative that will develop a system of Adaptive lighting, i.e. that it attaches to the conditions of the environment in which it is located.
This development will integrate management systems of InterCity and weather traffic with the network of public lighting in order to reduce power consumption while maintaining the conditions of road safety.
To achieve these goals applies the sensors as a source of information that allows to extract data from the outside. With all the extracted information system will allow adjust or regulate the lighting environment of the road conditions at all times and thus optimize energy expenditure without compromising the safety of drivers and passers-by.
