Lighting of the gardens of the Teatre Grec: innovation and tradition of the hand

The remodeling of the gardens of the theater lighting required to account for current rules and regulations in terms of quality and energy efficiency. At the same time, it also required, despite everything, while keeping the design and the historical aspect that characterized them since its inception.
In this line, lighting Roura industries raised a new project: adaptation of a few lampposts replica to the initially installed in the gardens of Forestier, with the reinforcement of a few projectors LED that they iluminasen properly at night, but they pass unnoticed during the day.
Combining Forestier + T-Grec
To the neoclassical style lampposts are called Forestier, in honor to the landscape architect who designed the gardens. They are built on concrete reinforced with fibres, reinforced stainless and natural color. The luminaire adopts the latest technologies at the level of optical groups, which gives a high level of performance, providing them with more sustainable maintenance and conservation.
In total, about 60 points of light with these features, that return you to the garden its original appearance have been installed.
The recovery of the original appearance
The Teatre Grec gardens are known for three distinctive elements: the Pergola, the old Pavilion and a large green area which occupies approximately 1.6 hectares and where it might be a series of plant fences and trees of all kinds. The theatre, outdoor, has its maximum occupancy in the summer months and is one of the most visited tourist places in Barcelona.
Today, after almost one hundred years since its inception, these gardens have recovered its original appearance taking into account the latest technologies. In addition to lighting, other elements that have been implemented are an automated irrigation and a water circuit in ornamental sources.
