Simon Lighting presents its first point of light made of wood

simon lighting launches the new Wood L, its more eco-friendly light point range. It's a new concept of urban lighting that brings together the most innovative design for the lighting of the cities with the use of wood always with care for the environment.

Wood is a point of light that presents the innovation of having the shaft made of wood. It is a new concept of lighting with the advantages of wood versus steel that is normally used: greater resistance, decrease in the energy required for its manufacture and greater respect for the environment. The wood of the tree of these points of light comes from forests of size-controlled what care for the environment is present in the whole process of manufacture. The result is a light source capable of transmitting the warmth arising natural environments to the cold environments of the present-day cities.

The point of light Wood L includes two possibilities of wood in its design and manufacturing. Wood hamacs has a colour from yellowish brown to dark brown, and chestnut, of a reddish color. The base and the support of these points of light are manufactured in steel to ensure a correct grip to the ground following the current rules and a good grip of the luminaire support.

These points of light are available with two lights. MIZAR and Atik road reflector and curved lid. The version with Atik DF is available in 5 meters, while the version with Mizar is available in 5 to 7 meters, single and double version with the two luminaries at the same height as well as the version of 7 meters with the luminaires to 5 to 7 meters. Both models are available with powers ranging from 70 to 150 W and can be mounted the new optical group LED of the company.
