This morning, Vincent Siew, Vice President of Taiwan, has been officially inaugurated Photonics Festival 2010, an international fair showing from today until next Friday in Taipei, the Taiwanese capital, the latest developments in solar energy, optoelectronics, illumination by LED and optical technology.
The Taiwanese Vice President has stressed in his speech the importance of initiatives such as Photonics Festival "that make that Taiwan continues to be a world benchmark in technology". It has also encouraged the exhibiting companies to "continue the efforts to achieve more presence of Taiwan in foreign markets". "We have to unite our efforts and work hard," it stressed.
The fair, organized by the Photonics Industry and Technology Development Association (ask), comprises a total of 600 exhibiting companies presenting their products and services to more than 40,000 professionals that the Organization expected that they come this year by the Taipei World Trade Center, headquarters of the event.
