Ourense has a system of remote management of lighting developed by Arelsa
March 10, 2010
On the one hand on the street are installed smart boxes with terminals in remote management Urbilux, which controlled consumption, alarms and lit, and with flow estabilizadores-reductores, that protect peaks of voltage lamps and allow energy savings. The savings obtained reaches up to 40% on high-pressure sodium vapour lamps (light yellow) and up to 25% (white light) metal halide lamps.
From the control room, the Technical Department of the City Council is supported by municipal TeleManagement Citigis program to inventory and monitor the performance of tables and points of light and review the electric billing. The system detected automatically and in real time breakdowns of lighting systems, warning immediately via SMS maintenance teams.
This version of the program can be incorporated, as well as the public lighting, any municipal facility, allowing to consolidate the inventory and management of any supply.
This system is implemented in more than 200 municipalities of Spain, such as Barcelona, Palma de Mallorca, Córdoba and Gijón.
