ALCO installs a modular building Alco in the hospital de Bellvitge (Barcelona)

Result of the enlargement which is carried out in the hospital de Bellvitge, has taken Anatomy pathology units moved to new facilities that have been executed with the modular system prefabricated Alco. Next to these consultations, a second modular building for administrative use of the hospital has also enabled. Total useful surface has increased by 600 square meters.
The expansion of the University Hospital of Bellvitge, Hospitalet de Llobregat (Barcelona), will be provided to the Centre of the necessary infrastructure to adapt to new technologies and make it more comfortable for patients and professionals. Phase II of the project, in which the joint venture formed by dredging and Comsa is raising the técnico-quirúrgico building with an area of 42,000 square metres distributed over 4 floors, whose completion is planned for April 2010 is currently in development.
Two Alco modular buildings have been installed in only a month and they are made with Alco standard modules, covered with façade panel, that keeps hidden structure, and get a full integration of the buildings in the context of the Hospital. Also, all internal divisions have been made through partitions clipada, which provides a better visual finish. While the bases of the modules have been when to give the necessary resistance to the use to that intended.
With regard to facilities, all piping circulating trays hidden in the false ceiling of vinyl paint plates, and both buildings have detection and fire suppression systems. There has also been a complex installation of voice and data connected to the central base of the Hospital de Bellvitge.
