Galicia hosts a discussion with town planning proposals for European cities

Organized by the Department itself, this ninth edition was promoted by Europan, an international organization created with the aim of fostering the debate on urban planning and architecture of the cities of Europe, as well as the consolidation of networks of collaboration between European architects.
Sites submitted to Europan 9 included a proposed Galician over an area of 22,300 square meters in the City Council of Poio, selected by the Department of Vivienda and only in order to ensure good solutions for an area with high population pressure.
Of the other cities submitted, are located in the Spanish State: the metropolitan area of Asturias, Badajoz, Calahorra, La Laguna, Santander and Soria.
