Lipasam installed in markets and supermarkets containers for the collection of used household oil

Domestic used oil, used for cooking and which is generated in large numbers in the city of Seville can, from now, have another destination is different to the drain of kitchens and toilets.
To enable the collaboration of citizens and try to encourage the recycling of used frying oil, the Seville Council is going to install this kind of waste containers in the markets of the city and those supermarkets who want to work with this important initiative. Citizens will only have to deposit the containers, used oil, inside one of the containers.
To develop this initiative, which will not involve any economic cost to the citizen, Lipasam will count with the collaboration of the company Selosa Bioeneregía, Manager and valorizador of waste and vegetable oils, authorized by the Ministry of environment of the Junta de Andalucíathat it will withdraw the full containers and move the oil to the treatment plant.
Recycling, transforming it into Biodiesel, prevents millions of gallons of water pollution and generate significant environmental benefits.
