Tomtom Participates in the Day 'Evolution of the Technologies of Mobility and Trazabilidad' of Citet

Tomtom, participates in the day on 'Evolution of the Technologies of Mobility and Trazabilidad' of Citet, Centre of Investigation for the Logistics and the Transport by Road, that celebrates on 1 April in the Living room of acts of the Camera of Trade and Industry of Madrid.

Beside other expert companies in transport, Tomtom will expose the profits that contribute the new solutions of management of fleets, like the location of vehicles, the optimisation of processes, the allocation of tasks of instantaneous way or the management of the time of the drivers and of the cost of fuel. All this, through a simple platform and thanks to new technologies that find in constant evolution.

The solutions of management of fleets, very known in the big companies, but that they can use in any group of vehicles, allow to obtain an immediate profit in businesses of any size. Some of these technologies allow to reduce the consumption until 20%, winning at the same time in efficiency and offering a better service to the customers.

Although these systems incorporate a very sophisticated technology, the true is that the idea is basic: provide information in real time from the vehicles (consumption, speed, broadcasts, style of driving…), to take to the instant the suitable decisions, propiciando operative changes and of behaviour in the drivers that generate a style of responsible driving and with a lower cost of fuel.
