Schneider Electric invites to the university Spaniards to compete internationally with Go Green in the City

Motivated by the increasing interest of the students of all the world in matters like the efficient management of the power, Schneider Electric has expanded the geographic coverage of the contest incorporating a dozen of new countries, between which finds Spain. With a total of 31 countries participants, ‘Go Green in the City' positions like the main international contest of green energies in the university plane. The answer showed by part of the students in all the editions of the contest signals that the future engineers are increasingly conscious that the increasing demand of electrical power has to go accompanied by a greater social progress and environingingmental protection.
From the past 15 November and until 15 February of 2014, Schneider Electric invites to the students of schools of engineering, business, Masters or MBA (from 2º course) of all the world to participate in the contest. For this, will have to form equipment of work by couples, explaining, at least, with a woman by group. Each team will have to present a proposal that illustrate his ideas to implement solutions of energetic efficiency in one of the five urban sectors main (residential, university, of trade, water or hospitals). To date, already they have received more than 1.744 preinscripciones that represent more than 81 nationalities.
The next 28 February will select the 100 better cases presented and each team will have of a month of term to work in his proposal with a mentor of Schneider Electric. The twelve better equipment will give appointment in Paris in June of 2014 to present his proposal in the final of the contest. In addition to opting to an offer of work in Schneider Electric, the winning team will be able to visit the different headquarters delivered by all the world and know to diverse collaborators and leaders of the company.
