The project of this innovative start-up, that at present finds installed in the Scientific Park of Madrid, is endorsed, among others, by the Madrilenian Institute of Studies Advanced of Power (Imdea Power), the Autonomous University of Madrid through his department of Physical Chemicals Applied or the University of Alicante with his team of Physical Chemicals, those who have participated in the day to explain the present and the future of the system of energetic storage.
In words of the CTO of Albufera, Joaquín Chacón, “the battery that now present will suppose in relation to the batteries that there is in the current market an increase of 200% of specific power and will be available according to our perspectives in a no greater term to 2 years”.
During the opening, Enrique Soria, boss of the division of Renewable Energies of the
By his part, the chair of the Autonomous University of Madrid, Enrique Fatás, has exposed in his report, a complete map of challenges with which confronts the sector to give answer to the needs of the market.
This innovative company works already in the prototype of a battery aluminium-air of last generation recargable that will suppose an important qualitative jump with regard to the batteries that commercialise nowadays, as well as a real commitment with the environingingment. The proposal of Albufera, more sustainable, will suppose an optimisation of the energetic storage to half term.
