Private companies develop the intelligent and sustainable roof of the future

A group of private companies composed by Admire, Ficosa, Intel JCDecaux and Telefonica has set up a project to develop the Smartquesina, the clear-cut roof like “intelligent and sustainable of the future”. The project, that is cream with international vocation, will be presented in the next months to the administrations of distinct cities all over the world. The functionalities that has the Smartquesina suppose a clear improvement of the quality of the services of the network of transports.

Thanks to this new concept of station, the user will be able to:

. Buy the titles of transport in the same stop and with the mobile (mTouch&Go)

. Schedule the route and consult the information in one of the digital screens with the mobile (mTouch&Know)

. Download information and buy services that appear in the systems of information (mTouch&Shop)

. Contribute to the sustainability thanks to the existence of a stop energetically autosuficiente instrumented with the stations minieólicas and photovoltaic of Ficosa.

This project is the first of the SmartCity LAB Barcelona, initiative that looks for to do better cities for his citizens by means of the use of the new tecnologias.
