Tetra Pak reports progress in the reduction of CO2 during the meeting of WWF

During the press conference held on Capitol Hill, within the annual meeting of 'Saviours of climate' WWF which took place in Washington D.C. (USA), Tetra Pak presented a report on the progress made in relation to its commitment to reduce their CO2 emissions in absolute terms by 2010 - a voluntary commitment that the company established in 2006 with WWFWhen she was invited to be part of the program 'Climate savers'.
The report submitted by Tetra Pak notes has been a reduction of 12 per cent of carbon emissions from 2005, despite the sharp increase in production over the same period. In 2008, the empelada energy reached levels similar to 2002, despite the fact that there was an increase of 32 per cent in production of packaging in the same period.
