Alfa Laval supplies equipment to Iberese for the plant of co-generation in Moyresa (Murcia)
February 23, 2006
Alfa laval, multinational Swedish manufacturer of equipment for the industry, It has provided the Iberese engineering, specialising in energy projects, the aerorrefrigeradores for the project of cogeneration to set up this company on the floor which Moyresa has in Cartagena (Murcia). It's a plant for the processing of oilseeds for the production of oils. Alfa Laval has already previously supplied the cooling system to Moyresa in the processing plants that this company is in the port of Barcelona and the port of Bilbao.
The order consists of 6 PFC3/4/6 aerorrefrigeradores with a capacity of 5,100 Mcal/HR + 8 of the model DCDS806 (d), with a capacity of 4,450 Mcal/HR, ready for cooling circuits of high and low temperature in the most unfavourable conditions. These systems of aerorrefrigeradores of Alfa Laval, Iberese and Moyresa have already installed on other occasions, have obvious advantages over the cooling towers: closed water circuit clean; no purge or loss of water by evaporation in the system, so that water consumption is null; to have a closed circuit, it is not necessary to add chemicals to prevent the growth of micro-organisms (Legionella); antifreeze can be added and, thanks to its larger capacity of regulation, save energy and reduce maintenance costs.
