Bayer Receives the prize to the business path in Tarragona

Bayer has received the prize to the best business path during the decimosegunda edition of the Nit Business 2012 that every year organises the Business Confederation of the Province of Tarragona (Cepta). The event, traditional meeting point of the business world tarraconense, has the aim to recognise the work of the companies of the region.

The adviser of Company and Occupation of the Government of Catalonia, Francesc Xavier Ore, has been the attendant to chair the act that, under the lemma 'The strength of the optimism', has gathered to a big number of representatives of the business world, economic and institutional.

For the granting of this galardón have analysed the economic results and/or social of the last years, derived of the activities of the companies candidates. Besides, they have valued appearances like the expansion, consolidation, investment, diversification, aprovechamiento of the opportunities and effective management of the risks.

Jesús Loma-Ossorio, general director of Bayer MaterialScience (BMS), represented to the company in the ceremony of delivery of prizes organised the past Friday in the Palace of Fairs and Congresses of Reus, during which declared: “it Is a big honour receive this galardón, since it supposes a recognition to the evolution of our activity in the zone”. And it added: “The past year celebrate the 40 anniversary of the factory of Bayer MaterialScience in Tarragona and, thanks to the effort of all, have achieved to position us like a referent inside the chemical industry”.
